Val Madsen, MS, CTRS is a certified Recreational Therapist and an Educational and Behavioral Consultant. She provides therapy, training, and consultation to individuals, family members, and school districts.

Val received her Master’s in Therapeutic Recreation from UW-La Crosse and a graduate certificate in Advanced Clinical Behavioral Health from Colorado State University. She has more than 15 years of experience working in community respite and recreation programs with both children and adults with a variety of disabilities and mental health needs. Val has provided training and workshops on a variety of topics around supporting individuals in their community to professionals and family members around the country.
